First, it is important that you get some information and documents ready for the appraiser so they can get to work faster. If you have a residential property that needs to be appraised, the appraiser really only has your name, e-mail address, phone number, the address of the property and the reason you are having the property appraised (for example, to get a loan to buy the property).

If you have an apartment, the appraiser will additionally need from you all the documents of the VvE from you such as the financial statements, minutes and a maintenance plan. If you want to know exactly all that the appraiser needs, read back in this article of ours.

If you provide all this properly, the appraiser can prepare the appraisal as far as possible and the appraisal recording itself will take less time.

In conclusion, the duration of an appraisal varies very much by appraiser. Not to show off, but when we do an appraisal for a client, the client always has their appraisal report no later than 2-3 days later. But looking at how fast other appraisers are, you can figure about 1.5 weeks to 2 weeks before you have your appraisal report. You are very wise to ask clearly before hiring an appraiser and also try to agree on when the appraisal report will be finished.
