As a purchasing agent, in many cases we advise the buyer to have the home inspected structurally. We do this, of course, to see what the structural concerns of the home are and the cost to improve them. Not just for the short term, but especially for the future. As a buyer, you really get to know your new home well as a result. Something may be good now, but may be due for replacement in 5 years, such as the bitumen on the flat roof.

If we do not recommend an architectural inspection, it may be, for example, that it is a straightforward apartment, which has a good active community association and also has a good maintenance plan (MJOP).

The cost of a building inspection is approx. € 350 including VAT and are paid by the buyer.
